Question For Affiliates

A few weeks ago I posted that we are considering putting a few sites in a network on a "Join One Join All" basis. Early results (not including Astrid) are very encouraging so we are now looking at going the whole hog.

Here is the conundrum. The sites are currently in different affiliate programmes. We don't want to lose the "Leak Free" aspect of the site tours so how would affiliates feel if there was a "Get Access To All These Sites" panel, but there was no click through. To see the other sites a surfer would have to key in the urls (unless he had them bookmarked).

There isn't a lot of point creating the network only to lose valuable affiliate traffic so your feedback/input would be much appreciated.

For affiliates, it doesn't really work unless it's all under one affiliate code.

Thanks for the quick response Toby. I thought that may be the kind of feedback I might get, and fully understand.

If that's the case then we may have to look at fully merging the entire businesses (pay sites) and that is going to take a lot of discussion as we are talking active sites with their own revenues.

Hmm a lot to think about.

Or you could have two tours. One for affiliates...nothing changes and one that you drive traffic to that offers the multi site deal. Kinda the best of both worlds.

Good luck and let us know what you decide to do, Geoff.
